March 24th 17: Ed - Zuna - Drake

Week number 11 for Ed Sheeran occupying the German top. Shape Of You now falls only one week short of Rag'n'Bone Man who at the end of 2016 became the English male artist having the longest run at #1 since the beginning of the weekly German charts in 1971.
Week number 26 with a British act at #1 and week number 43 with an European #1–that are the figures for now.

Gainer of the week is Zuna with his track Nummer 1. Past week it entered at #74 after two weeks on sale. Now it sits pretty at #7 and is the very first top 10 hit for Dresden KMN Crew. Alongside Zuna also crew mate Azet appears on the track.
Propelled by the success of the new song also ?Wieso? can reach a new peak. It reaches #52 in its 8th week.

Inside the top 20 also Luis Fonsi Ft. Daddy Yankee arrive with Despacito. It is the first time since summer 2005 that Daddy Yankee can appear that high again while Luis Fonsi has his very first chart hit at all.

Highest new entry is the second teaser song for Kontra K's next album Gute Nacht scheduled for April 24th. Mehr als ein Job lands at #24 similar to the first release Diamanten a month ago. Latter one still sneaks around the list–so it is only the second song by the rapper that achieves a more than one week run inside the charts. His biggest hit so far came back in June 2014 with Wölfe peaking at #19 and spending eight weeks on the survey.

The album having the biggest impact on the singles list is the new offering by DRAKE More Life. It lands on the album's list on #6 only but serves with several single tracks on the song charts led by Passionfruit at #27. All the rest sneaks in lower than #75. With a total of seven tracks from the new album + One Dance Drake stays behind the result of Ed Sheeran who still has 13 different songs inside the list.
The strong appearance of DRAKE pushes the total of songs by Canadians to 15–last seen in November 2015 when Justin Bieber invaded the list.

In its seventh chart weeks No Roots by Alice Merton seems catching a little more fire. The song goes 81–67 and still got some space to rise further.
