Jan 6th 17: First List–First Hits

The first #1 of the new year is the last #1 of the old year: Rockabye by Clean Bandit Feat. Sean Paul & Anne-Marie spends a third week at the German top which marks the 15th consecutive week a British act appears there. For featured artist Sean Paul it is now the longest running #1 hit he appears on as Cheap Thrills alongside SIA left the top after two weeks in April 2016.

Almost exactly a year after Alan Walker's first hit Faded charted for the very first time he can launch a second top 5 hit as Alone goes 8–4 in its fifth chart week.

The first new top 10 hit stops by at #6. Shed A Light is an all star collaboration by Robin Schulz & David Guetta Feat. Cheat Codes. For Robin Schulz this is a return to top 10 status after a year although it is his seventh within three years. David Guetta already has now 18 top 10 hits under his belt–Shed A Light being the third consecutive and it is one of two simultaneous hits as Would I Lie To You sits pretty at #8 still.


As all Christmas tunes leave the list this week we do have 20 songs that were not listed the week before. 18 of them re-appearing in the list–it is the highest amount since March 2010.

2016: Alan Walker & Bonez MC Are The Winners

Most sold single of 2016 is Faded by Norwegian newcomer Alan Walker. It appeared first on January 15th and reached the top four weeks later where it spent ten weeks. The song sits pretty at #65 in the last issue of the year so it had a 51 weeks chart run so far. With two further top 10 hits (Sing Me To Sleep #10 and Alone #8) Alan Walker is the most succesfull new act in 2016 at all and establishes himself as one of the steadiest act. He is joined by Bonez MC & RAF Camora who also could launch three consecutive top 10 hits at the end of 2016. The triple also was completed by Calvin Harris who added two top 10 songs in 2016 to his account.

Back to Bonez MC. He is the newcomer of the year in some other terms. First of all his collaboration album with RAF Camora Palmen aus Plastik ranks as the best sold rap album of the year (#12 on the official album charts of the year) and at #5 (resp. #20) with partner Gzuz and High & Hungrig II. On the singles charts 35 tracks involving him were listed on the charts. Never before an act had that much tracks charting in one calendar year–even after Michael Jackson's death in 2009 "only" 23 songs charted again. Additionally Bonez MC had three times more than 10 tracks simultanously in the list. He definitely is the most present artist of the year 2016.

The number 1 statistics knows two further winners:
Rag'n'Bone Man delivered with Human the longest running #1 hit of the year. The song spent 12 weeks at the top. Israel "IZ" Kamakawiwo'ole was the last one doing so back in 2010. Singer Rory Graham also is the best performing British act since exactly 20 years. Back than Sarah Brightman had a 13 weeks run at #1 alongside Andrea Bocelli on the song Time To Say Goodbye (Con Te Partiro).

Second name to mention is Sean Paul. The singer appeared on two #1 hits in 2016.

Dec 16th 16: Clean Bandit & Sean Paul Got A Second #1 Hit and Imperator Kollegah Invades The List

After eleven weeks there is a change at #1: Rockabye by Clean Bandit Feat. Sean Paul & Annemarie benefits from the decreasing sales numbers of Human and becomes the 13th number one of 2016. It is the second for both Clean Bandit and Sean Paul, the Jamaican singer additionally is now the act with most number one hits in one year as this is the second one he appears on. And he is the first Jamaican artists gaining two songs at number one in Germany at all.
It is this again a number one song with a social story as lyrics–something a long time didn't happen that permanently.

alle farben launches its fourth top 10 hit within three years as Bad Ideas jumps 18–9. So far every single by the project that entered the charts at least reached top 10 status. This is a 100% sense for the mood of the day.
alle farben is the fourth German act inside the top 10–that means a presence of German act we didn't had for exactly a year.

With Hallelujah by the Pentatonix moving to #15 an interesting change of demand in Christmas tunes is obvious. Leading the list of seasonal tunes a comic rap track sits at #8 with Holz (Weihnachts-Edition) by the 257ers. Runners up is the a capella version of the Leonhard Cohen song followed by All I Want For Christmas Is You by Mariah Carey recorded in 1994 ranking at #23 in its 50th chart week. The all time favorite Last Christmas by Wham! from 1984 drops 13 places to #27.

The new single by Alan Walker Alone indeed only rises one place now reaching #20. Anyway it is the third top 20 hit of the Norwegian artist in 2016.

A week before the release of the winter edition of their album Palmen aus Plastik (now named Tannen aus Plastik) MC Bonez & Raf Camora launch An ihnen vorbei. The track starts chart life straight at # 22 even outselling the best performing track from Kollegah's new album Imperator that rocks to #1 on the album's list. Kaiseraura only manages to climb to #28 but is one of 17 tracks that manage to chart as single track too. Only one single track from the album does not chart at all. By doing so Kollegah has most tracks simultaneously on the list–falling only one short of his own record set on May 23rd 2014. He also now is the act with most different tracks charting on the single's list–even outselling veteran Bushido. Of course he also is the act with most tracks not reaching the top 20. That feat only two tracks had the honour to reach in 2014. And the imperator is not at all the act with most charting tracks in a calendar year. This honour still belongs to MC Bonez who collected 26 tracks so far this year–six more than Kollegah.

With Kollegah invading the list the amount of songs in German is 36–songs involving Germans are 42. This is the best result of 2016 but still a bunch of tracks low than exactly one year ago.

All in all this week there are 19 songs completely new inside the list. This also is the biggest amount of whole 2016.

April 22nd 16: SIA & Sean Paul Are Going #1

What a race! On the midweek survey still Faded by Alan Walker led the list. But ten weeks at the top made the demand shrinking and on the other hand Cheap Thrills by SIA Feat. Sean Paul attract more and more people. So there is a change at the very top of the German charts ending a 50 weeks long presence of European acts at #1.

Cheap Thrills is the first #1 for both SIA and Sean Paul. The Australian singer had her first chart appearance four and a half year ago alongside David Guetta. So this career looks quite usual. In contrast Sean Paul has an already 13 years long chart history under his belt which really is a long way. Of course it ain't unique–remembering Daft Punk reaching the top after 16 years on charts three years ago?

A nice statistical fact at the end: Sean Paul is only the fifth Jamaican artist topping the charts in Germany. Last one was OMI who a year ago had his Cheerleader climbing to the top after remixed by Felix Jaehn.


The change at the top is backed up with three new songs inside the top 10. It seems there is a seasonal change going on bringing us a bunch of new hits for upcoming spring time. First of all DRAKE's new offering jumps to the upper end at the charts. One Dance lands at #6 in its second chart week and falls only one place short of Drake's only top 10 appearance so far Work (alongside Rihanna) that showed up a few weeks ago.
Of course DRAKE is not alone on his new single. Featured artist Wizkid now is the first Nigerian inside the German top 10 since 15 years. Back in 2001 it was Adé Bantu who as a member of Brothers Keepers gained #5 with Adriano (Letzte Warnung).

Arrival number 2 is Don't Let Me Down by The Chainsmokers Ft. Daya. The producers already had their first chart hit two years ago with #Selfie. Now they proof that they're more than a one hit wonder. Singer Daya right in this moment starts grabbing some attention with her special performance.
And also #10 is a complete newcomer. Era Istrefi is the first Albanian singer reaching the German Top10. BonBon lands here in its fifth chart week.

Some places below a further future hit shows up. Howling At The Moon jumps 37 places to #18. For singer Milow this is the first top20 appaerance since five years.


Highest new entry comes from P!NK. Just Like Fire is a song taken from the score to Alice Through The Looking Glass and lands in its first week at #32. It is P!NK's 32nd chart hit in Germany and her 15th in this decade alone. #32 is the highest performance for her since her #1 song Just Give Me A Reason (duetting with Nate Ruess) in spring 2013.


A jump of 32 places–which means it is the second biggest gainer–SEX by Cheat Codes X Kris Kross Amsterdam makes. Probably this will be one of spring dance tunes 2016.
The third biggest gainer lands at #69 in the face of Andrea Berg. Her single Diese Nacht ist jede Sünde wert jumps 29 places meanwhile her album Seelenbeben spends a second week at the top of the album's list. The single already had a peak at #44 two months ago and is the highest charting single of the singer at all.

With Are You With Me by Lost Frequencies leaving the list after 64 weeks now the longest running hit is Lean On by Major Lazer X DJ Snake Feat. Mø. The song sits pretty at #59 in its 59th chart week and now enters the top 20 of longest running hits in the recent decade.

April 8th 16: Mark Forster Launches A New Hit

Week no.9 on top for Alan Walker and his Faded. The song is on the way of becoming a real huge superhit as it approaches the result of Aadele's Hello which had an 11 weeks run at the top at the end of past year. As a DJ/producer Alan Walker already is the most successful one since AVICII who spent 10 weeks at #1 with Wake Me Up! in late summer 2013.

A tiny move but a meanful one takes place at #3. SIA Feat. Sean Paul gains one place with Cheap Thrills. It is already the most successful single with SIA as lead artist–now it also eclipses her highest chart performance at all. In September 2012 she appeared at #3 for the very first time as the singer on David Guetta's She Wolf. Sean Paul of course has a #2 hit under his belt already with She Doesn't Mind released in very early 2012.

There is one song new inside the top 10. It is Work From Home by Fifth Harmony Feat. Ty Dolla $ign. The song already hit #2 in the UK–now it really grows in Germany as well. It is the second chart hit for the five ladies. Worth It stopped at #16 almost a year ago.

Finally we do have a highest new entry worth its name. It is this Wir sind gross the new single by Mark Forster. The song lands directly at #13 and it is his fifth top 20 hit–the #1 hit as part of EFF not included. Only twice this year new entries started higher: On February th 5th it was ZAYN with his solo debut Pillow Talkand thre weeks before it were DJ Ötzi and Nik P. who launched their Geboren um dich zu lieben at #11.

A place below Meghan Trainor sets her new hit single Nø. It now overtakes predecessor Marvin Gaye accompanied by Charlie Puth. It is Meghan Trainor's fourth top20 hit within one and a half year.

At #16 the Chainsmokers can launch their very first top20 single in their career. Two years ago they seemed to be kind of a one hit wonder with #Selfie spending 22 weeks inside the survey. In 2016 they have two simultaneous hits with Don't Let Me Down (feat. Daya) jumping 14 places to #16 and Roses (Feat. Rozes) sitting pretty at #27.

Interesting statistics besides: With only nine tracks featuring a European artist inside the top 20 this is the lowest result sinc June 2013.
As there are three songs new inside the top 20 the picture looks quite usual. In fact that three songs disguises a bit the furthermore unchanging survey. All in all there are only five new songs arriving–it's the fourth time in 2016 that such a feat happens. And even if we watch th top 50: only three songs entered the upper half newly. A fact hardly seen in chart history.

All this doesnt mean, there are no movers at all. Viceversa there are some. Here they are:

March 18th 16: Frozen Top 5

As the early spring usually ain't showing much musical turbulence it is no surprise having also in 2016 a calm March. It is this the third consecutive week with a very static top. This current week the complete Top 5 is tied meaning Alan Walker spends a sixth week at #1 with Faded. He is now alongside synthetic pop project Aqua the Norwegian act spending most time at #1.

The one and only new song inside the top 10 comes in at #6. It is the new single of SIA from her album This Is Acting. Cheap Thrills is a collaboration with Jamaican Sean Paul. It is the fifth top 10 hit for the Australian singer and songwriter–only her second as lead artist and better than her first solo hit Chandellier from summer 2014 that stopped at #10. Sean Paul already has nine top 10 hits under his belt–last on in summer 2013.

As Stimme by EFF leaves the top 10 there are only four tracks involving Europeans inside. It is the lowest result since May 2013.

A few places lower Coldplay can enter the top 20 with Hymn For The Weekend. Once again a Coldplay song with an longer taking rise.

The highest new entry lands at #30–some places higher than the week before. Ariana Grande launches with Dangerous Woman a seventh chart hit and the third missing the top 20.

At #44 a summer hit re-enters after getting used on Let's Dance a week ago. FEDER Ft. Lyse had their Goodbye rising to #8 and spent 30 weeks inside the charts. Now both sneak in for a further week.


On the lower end of the list at #64 a European country takes its first steps on the mainstream pop market. Era Istrefi comes from Albania/Kosova and launches her very first chart hit with Bon Bon. The song is as international as any other production coming from the big pop nations and probably this first appeaerance can leave some marks on the European pop map.

March 11th 15: Silence

What the hell is going on in Germany? Nothing! At least if you have a look at the song charts. The second consecutive week the complete top 10 stays almost unchanged. Only places 5 and 6 twist as places 9 and 10 doing so also. This means Alan Walker spends a fifth comfortable week at the top with Faded. Still the catchiest tune at all and right now one of the hits of still young 2016.
Five weeks at #1 doubles the result of last Norwegian #1 single coming from Marit Larsen in 2009.

The longest top 10 runner is Love Yourself by Justin Bieber that is one of the movers at #5.
One amazing story con be told from inside the top 10 although. Look at #8 and you will see there a song sitting for a fifth time. Yes Me, Myself & I by G-Eazy & Bebe Rexha spent five weeks inside the top 10–all of them at #8.


The first mover lands again as deep as #12. It is this week SIA feat. Sean Paul who can make their song Cheap Thrills a full 16 places to heights both didnt seen for some time. Leading act SIA had her last appearance inside the top 20 in summer 2014 when Chandellier even hit #10. Sean Paul was absent since late summer 2013–back then it was Other Side Of Love that had a short visit at #3. To add this word: if someone had doubted dancehall would be dead or a product for special interests this last success of the sound shows how vital the genre still is.

Mover #2 stops at 19 in the face of Mike Posner's I Took A Pill In Ibiza tropic housed by Norwegian SeeB. It is the highest position the US American singer ever achieved and SeeB could be the next KYGO.


As new music has some difficulties making instant impacts on the charts there are more songs we earlier called sleeper hits. As an example this week Never Forget You by Zara Larsson & MNEK reaches a new peak at 28. It is already the 21st chart week of the song–so it took both half a year to become a proper medium hit.


The highest new entry comes in at #41. It is Fifth Harmony's recent single Work From Home. Their first hit made it up to #16 during past year.

It is hardly seen that an artist does have simultaneous entries in one week. Mostly that appears alongside a highly recommended album release. This week there is San Francisco based Daya who lands two new songs inside the survey without any album received or other big event going on. It is just an coincidence. At 69 she sings alongside The Chainsmokers on their new single Don't Let Me Down and further down at 91 she enters with her standalone song Hide Away. As also Flume enters the list at 86 there is a bunch of songs representing a slightly new sound mostly produced around the Pacific Ocean.

At #96 an almost exactly 10 years long absence ends as Massive Attack brings its new song Ritual Spirit in the list. It is only the fifth chart entry for the band which sounds quite strange as the duo has had a huge musical impact and still does to the new generation of TripHop artists.


On The Way Up are:
SAX by Fleur East going 56–43 in its fourth chart week
Keeping Your Head Up by Birdy jumping 91–49 in its fifth chart week after some TV promotion for her new album Beautiful Lies scheduled for end of March

28th of March 2014:

It is MR PROBZ again who takes the No.1 crown with his hit Waves. It is the third week for the track on the sunny place which makes it the most succesfull Dutch production since 15 years. At the very end of 1998 it was Loona who had her second number 1 single Hijo De La Luna spending three weeks at the top too.

Waves at the top also gives us a third number 1 in a row that at least spent three weeks on the top. Exactly one year ago we had that situation for last time. Back than it was Rihanna’s Diamonds that had a 10 weeks run in Dezember followed by will.i.am & Britney Spears and their Scream & Shout (9 weeks) and Passenger’s Let Her Go (5 weeks).



After their fulminant victory on the German national final to the Eurovision Song Contest and a full week on sale Is It Right by Elaiza storms the Top 10. The song lands at number 4 which is the fifth consecutive year that the national entry can reach the top 10. Such a success (or call it euphoria) wasn’t never seen before.
Also song number two performed on the show (and recorded on the EP) Fight Against Myself can gain some chart success. Number 50 is the place it sits pretty this week. At the very end of the list even the upcoming single Without appears. That's what I call success.

Other national finalists climb up the list too after a full week of sales. The runners up UNHEILIG sees his second song staged live on the show Wir sind alle wie eins jumping 71–29 (the leading entry Als wär’s das erste Mal vicecersa collapses 10–25)
Third on the show Cotton Candy Hurricane by MarieMarie goes 75–39, second song Candy Jar comes in at 82. Second act on place 3 Santiano only enters number 69 with Fiddler On The Deck. Well, it is the highest rank the band can achieve in the singles charts ever. On the album list it already has two number 1 hits under its belt.




In its 15th week on sale Liebe by Sido enters the top 20. It started chart life with the release of the album 30-11-80 back in December. Than it sneaked around the list raising slowly to a medium hit and two weeks ago finally had its release as a proper CD single. Number 16 is the result so far for that song.

At number 38 an act celebrates its 25th anniversary with its 25th chart entry titled 25. It’s Die Fantastischen Vier that worked so hard for this sensational constellation. Their first chart entry was in September 1992 when Die da?! started to become one of their biggest success till today.

Without a proper release as a single Sean Paul’s Hey Baby climbs up the list. This week the track lands at number 47 and it’s right on the way to become the artist’s next hit.

On sale but overseen for some weeks Enrique Iglesias Ft. Pitbull finally raise some awareness. I'm A Freak goes 89–56 this week. Still far away from the levels both acts perform usually. Even the production team of The Cataracs is used to rank in higher regions.

Released as a proper CD single Weinen by Adel Tawil manages to reach number 57. Well, also this artist usually collects Top 10 positions. Maybe the fact that an unofficial remix by Roy Jones can attract much more people than the original mixes causes the weak chart position. Why spending money for a boring track if there is another around with much more appeal (and for no money)?

It is the third chart run for A Little Party Never Killed Nobody by Fergie + Q-Tip + Goonrock. The track now climbs to number 67 again in its 36th chart week. In early summer 2013 it peaked at number 10. Is this new demand for the song caused by the fresh mothership of Fergie or its misfortune on the Oscars?

Scheduled for a release as single track on 28th of March Down By The River by German new super darlings Milky Chance climbs already up the charts weeks before. This issue it stands at number 68 as an album cut.

Beginning of April Rebecca Ferguson tours througout Germany. In anticipation of this event the demand in her last single Light On raises again. The track re-enters at number 86.

Deep House probably will accompany us for 2014. The next act coming from Germany is Parra for Cuva ft. Anna Naklab. The DJ (+ singer) took the classic tune from Chris Isaak to rework it in a dance/lounge style. The result can enter the charts after a month on sale. The original recording took a long way to its hiatus too. Recorded in the late 80s it became a hit with its use in David Lynch's movie Wild at Heart in 1990. Number 9 in Germany was the result more than 20 years ago.



After 84 weeks inside the charts Sonnentanz by Austrian duo Klangkarussell is now the track with the third longest consecutive chart appearance. This current week it eclipses the result of Adele's Rolling In The Deep from 2010. Only Geboren um zu leben (94 weeks) by UNHEILIG and Heavy Cross by Gossip (96 weeks) spent more consecutive weeks on the list.

07-12: Three Big News & A Lot Xavier Naidoo

One might call it longing for summer–the two most sold singles of the week carry a warm caribbean feeling. At number 1 still stands Brazilian Michel Teló and his Nooosssaa! Ai Se Eu Te Pego!. It is the third week at the top spot and now–after finishing the airing of Dschungelcamp–the track might loose a bit of its charme. On the other hand it is exactly now carnival time … Anyway Michel Teló is far and away the most successful male artist coming from South America. Only once a singer from there topped the charts in Germany. It was Juanes who did so in 2005 for a single week with his La Camisa Negra. Of course the most succesful act of the continent is Shakira having four number 1 hits under her belt so far.

The second “tropical” hit is new in the Top 10. It is Sean Paul who starts with his new single at runner’s up position. It is the fifth regular Top 10 hit (the sixth if you count the collaboration with Blu Cantrell in 2003) and the highest position ever for the Jamaican boy. And it is the highest entering track so far of the still young 2012. In Switzerland Sean Paul now sees his second number 1 hit in a row–seems that the new style of the star is attracting continental Europe much more than North America.

The biggest new start of a German production is provided by Silbermond (Silver Moon). Himmel auf (Heaven Open) is the leading single of upcoming same titled album. The video includes many statements of people what luck is meaning to them. A project reflecting the state of (East) German society. It gives the band a number 5 startwhich is the fourth time in an eight years long career that they can reach the Top 5.



Funny trivia at the upper end for the last of only three new entries in a week: Madonna sets her 60th chart hit with Give Me All Your Luvin’ landing at number 8. It is her 26th hit that can reach the Top 10 which equals the result of The Beatles. Only German Austrian Peter Alexander had more Top 10 hits–35 countied on him.


We only have three new entries but there are 12 songs re-entering the charts. A whole bunch is caused by the release of Xavier Naidoo’s best of album Danke fürs Zuhören (Thank You For Listening). It starts right at number 1 on the album’s list and simultanously his biggest hits swap back into the list. Best selling and most loved single track is ich kenne nichts (das so schön ist wie du) (I Don’t Know Anything That is Beautiful As You Are)–the former number 1 collaboration with rapper RZA from 2003 which a month ago attracted a new audience after the singer presented it at the TVoG show. Ich kenne nichts actually jumps back up the list 90–36 in its 41st chart week. The longest running hit of Xavier Dieser Weg (This Path) re-appears as the second most loved track at number 69 collecting an 80th chart week. His last Top 10 hit Alles kann besser werden (All Can Get Better) from 2009 is also back at 85 and his very first big hit Sie sieht mich nicht (She Doesn’t See Me) from 1999 can manage a re-appearance at number 96. At the very end of the list lands Was wir alleine nicht schaffen (What We Can’t Make Alone) finally.


As usual some casting show related hits are back in the list. This recent week it is the new season of Deutschland sucht den Superstar (DSDS) (Germany’s version of Idols) that grabs the crown of being the most influental to the list. On recall number 2 Luca Hänni, Jesse Ritch, Robin Lau and Thomas Pegram had performed Lighters–last year’s hit for Bad Meets Evil. As the DSDS marketing is slightly different than the one of TVoG the performed versions are not available as download tracks. Fans have to buy the original recording. And they do. Lighters re-appears in th elist at number 46.

A further DSDS hit was promoted by Jana Skolina. She propels A Night Like This by Caro Emerald back to number 52. It is already chart week number 49.


The semi final of The Voice of Germany on February 3rd only can launch two direct hits. Nena’s Liebe ist (Love Is) re-appears after she performed it in the show and the biggest hit of British The Verve–Bitter Sweet Symphony–appears back at number 95 after Max Giesinger and Mic Donet (both favourites at that time) duetted the song on the show. Of course one have to count Rolling In The Deep too. It was performed by Michael Schulte and Jasmin Graf and can make a little rise 43–35 afterwards. Also the signature song Heroes/Helden by the complete coaching team is back at number 76


Finally thecasting show for Eurovision Song Contest Unser Star für Baku (Our Star For Baku) launches a hit. At the fourth show final winner Roman Lob staged with Drops Of Jupiter originally recorded by USAmerican train. After that performance the song can climb back into the list at number 83.



And there is carnieval season knocking at the door visibly through the rise of typcal Schlager hits. Austrian Andreas Gaballier reaching number 30 with i sing a liad für di and the version by DJ Ötzi also climbs back up the list taking a break now at number 41. I guess these both tracks will rise much further the next days. Classic party tracks such as Alexandra Stan’s Mr. Saxobeat also benefit from the so called fifth season rising 88–73 again.

More "What A Man"

Marlon Roudette holds firm at number 1 with the ballad New Age. It is the third consecutive week and he now as a solo artist matches the result achieved in 2006 as part of duo Mattafix. This recent week his debut album Matter Fixed enters the album list at number 6 – a feat never reached with his former project. To tell some more stories: Marlon Roudette is the first British act staying at number 1 for at least three weeks since late 2009. Back than Robbie Williams brought Bodies to top the singles’ list for four weeks.

A second track from the original Soundtrack of the Matthias Schweighöfer movie What A Man enters the German list this recent issue. It is the title track performed by Lena. The song had a chart career already 17 years ago when the version of Salt’n’Pepa with En Vogue hit the charts and climbed to number 39. The newly recorded version is far and away the most popular by entering directly at number 21. The original sung by Linda Lyndell never reached the charts here.




Rising one place to number 2 MAROON 5 Featuring Christina Aguilera reach a new peak with Moves Like Jagger. MAROON 5 already had been announced having their biggest hit for all times. Christina Aguilera by now enters a position last seen in 2006 with her single Hurt.

Highest new entry is a so far download only track. It is the first lift from Sean Paul’s upcoming yet untitled album which is announced for early 2012. Got 2 Luv U is the first single of the artist touching the Top 10 since We Be Burnin’ climbed to number 5 in autumn 2005. In his whole 9 years long chart career Sean Paul only collected 4 Top 10 hits. Entering the survey at number 9 this week the star seems back to known power. Let’s wait till the full CD release at 16th September will have effect of the list .

Got U Love U features guest vocals by Alexis Jordan – one of the new comers of the year. She oddly missed the upper ranks with her debut Happiness -– to me one of the most catching pop songs this year. Alongside Sean Paul she finally becomes a hit singer. Whether she can stand alone and gain hits is a question for the future.

31. Juli: Sommerloch, Sommerhits, Ferienzeit

Es ist weiterhin Ferienzeit in Deutschland. Kaum Veränderungen in der Single-Liste von media control und der Trend aus der letzten Woche setzt sich fort: Erfolgreiches aus den letzten Monaten kann noch ein wenig in der Platzierung zulegen, neu sind vor allem Party-Sommer-Bierkönig-Schlager.

Ganz oben tut sich also auch in der fünften Woche nichts: Emilíana Torrini liefert mit Jungle Drum die Nr.1 und hat damit den gesamten Juli lang die Auswertung beherrscht. Auf der Vizeposition verharrt in der mittlerweile sechsten Woche das Duo Cassandra Steen feat. Adel Tawil mit Stadt. Und auf die Position 3 kehren zurück David Guetta feat. Kelly Rowland mit When Love Takes Over, das der erste Titel, welcher auf wirklich keiner Party – egal ob independent technoid oder mainstream-disco – fehlen darf.

Tja und so still und ausgewogen geht es weiter durch die gesamten Top 10 und weiter bis zum Platz 16. Dorthin steigt in der dritten Woche Marquess mit Arriba. Damit holen sich die Jungs aus Hannover das fünfte maleinen Top 20 Hit und können ihre letzte Albumbilanz erstmal bestätigen, denn auch La Histeria aus dem Album ¡Ya! schaffte es letztes Jahr im Februar bis zur Position 15. Damit kündigt sich schon an, was dann weiter unten in den Charts noch mehr Relevanz besitzt: die Urlaubshits sind auf dem Vormarsch.

Ebenfalls mit einem kleinen Sprung gehen Reamonn unter die ersten 20. Moments Like This steigt in der siebten Woche von der 29 auf die 19 und ist damit die dritte Top 20-Auskopplung aus dem aktuellen Album. Das sind dann die einzigen Neuzugänge unter den oberen 20.

Knapp an den Top 20 vorbei schrammt zum wiederholten male Clueso. Gewinner geht in der 16. notierten Woche noch einmal von der 35 auf die 21.
Zu den aufsteigenden Titeln gehört auch in dieser Woche Lenka mit The Show. In der siebten Woche gehts von 36 auf die 23. Bereits in der letzten Woche hatte sie ja schon einen bemerkbaren Aufstieg absolviert, jetzt geht es also nochmal weiter nach oben.

Einen kleinen Sprung nach oben machen die Kings_Of_Leon mit ihrem Singledebüt aus dem letzten Jahr Sex_On_Fire. Es geht für sie von der 50 auf die 34 und damit auf einen neuen Höchststand für diesen Titel, bisher lag dieser bei Platz 43. Nun in der 31. Woche steht Sex_On_Fire also ganze neun Plätze höher. Und das ist ein kleiner Rekord, denn damit ist der langsame Aufstieg von Lady GaGa feat. Colby O’Donis übertrumpft, die mit ihrem Just Dance ganze 28 Wochen brauchten um die Höchstposition 10 am 27. März zu erreichen. Mit 31 Wochen bis zur Höchstposition gehören die Kings Of Leon auch in der All Time-Auswertung zu den langsamsten 10. Das letzte mal waren es Höhner., die für ihr Viva Colonia 31 Chartwochen brauchten, ehe sie 2007 die Position 20 erreichten.

Abgesehen von diesen mehr oder weniger jahreszeitenunabhängigen Titeln, die auch schon mehr oder weniger in die Abteilung ”Standards” gehören, geht es dann – wie schon erwähnt – vor allem für Bierkönig-Ballermann-Hits nach vorne. Höchster Neuzugang ist mit Tim Toupet beispielsweise ein Re-Entry. Seine Version des Fliegerliedes So ein schöner Tag geht in dieser Woche dank Wieder-Veröffentlichung im Latino Summer Mix wieder in die Liste auf Platz 31. Anfang des Jahres schaffte es der Titel bereits bei seinem Debüt als Höchster Neuzugang einzusteigen. Damals auf Platz 38. Im Laufe der Zeit ging es dann bis auf den sechsten Platz, womit Tim Toupet den Karnevalshit der Saison landen konnte. Ganze zwanzig Wochen war das Fliegerlied in den deutschen Charts notiert, bevor es Anfang Juni die Liste verlassen musste. Nun ist es also wieder da und vermutlich wird Tim Toupet nunmehr auch zu den Interpreten gehören, die am Jahresende in der Auswertung zumindest unter den erstn 20 zu finden sein wird.

Der höchste echte Neuzugang, also ein Titel, welcher noch nie vorher in den deutschen Charts notiert war, ist in dieser Woche Sean Paul mit So Fine. Nach gut zwei Jahren ist der Jamaikaner als Solo-Artist zurück und kann tatsächlich noch ordentlich punkten. Allerdings ist auch deutlich zu bemerken, dass seine eher klassische Variante des DanceHall gegen den neueren Hybriden Aciton wie ihn zum Beispiel Pitbull präsentiert doch deutlich den Kürzeren zieht. Auf den coolen Parties des Landes läuft Sean Paul mit Sicherheit trotzdem – in wilden Mashup-Mixen als Trance-Version zum Beispiel. Für So Fine geht es in der Woche der CD-Veröffentlichung auf den Platz 39.

Die nächste neue Single kommt von Jordin Sparks. Battlefield ist die Ankündigung des gleichnamigen Albums und steigt ein auf Platz 40. Es ist ihre insgesamt vierte Single, die bisher bestplatzierte in diesem Jahr, an die vorhergehenden aus dem Debüt-Album kann sie momentan jedoch nicht wirklich anschließen. Hier helfen auch nicht die ein wenig uninspirierten Disco-Trance-Remixe.

Neues Material nach mehr als zwei Jahren Pause haben auch 2raumwohnung im Gepäck. Ihr neues Album heißt Lasso und daraus gibt es erstmal den Titel Wir werden sehen. Dieser steigt auf der 43 ein. Es ist der insgesamt zwölfte Titel, den 2raumwohnung in den deutschen Charts absetzen können und er gehört zu den besser platztierten. Allerdings bleiben die Auskopplungen aus dem Vorgänger 36grad mit Platzierungen in den 20ern deutlich erfolgreicher – und sind auch für meine Begriffe die eingängigeren Titel.
Präsent war 2raumwohnung so auch in der Zwischenzeit durch die Neuaufnahme ihres Titels 36grad für das Cubano Aléman-Projekt von Rhythms del Mundo. Diese Version von 36grad geht parallel zum neuen Titel auch nochmal in die Liste: auf der Position 80 sammeln sie eine 12. Woche (übrigens die höchste Platzierung seit September 2008).

In der unteren Hälfte der Charts bestimmen die Mallorca-Hits das Bild. Neu auf der 53 das aktuelle Werk von Markus Becker. Nach dem roten Pferd ist es dieses mal Die bunte Kuh, welche das Partyvolk offensichtlich in den Wahn treibt. Als Performance in der ersten Woche ist die Platzierung allerdings nicht ganz so überzeugend. Selbst seine letzte Single Hörst du die Regenwürmer husten stieg in der ersten Woche mit Platz 23 deutlich höher ein.

Chris Andrews & Tobee gehen mit Pretty Belinda – Schlauchbott auf der 65 rein. Das ist eine Kombination des Hits von 1969 mit deutschen Schlauchboot-Versatzstücken. Das Ganze ordentlich mit einem Discofox-Beat unterlegt, fertigt ist der Mallorca-Kracher.
Tobee war im letzten Jahr mit seiner Fußballhymne schonmal auf der 70 zu finden. Für ihn ist die aktuelle Zusammenarbeit sozusagen ein Meilenstein. Chris Andrews hatte dagegen schon einige Hits in den 60ern – fünf davon waren auch in den damaligen Charts platziert. Pretty Belinda schaffte es dabei bis zum Platz Nr. 5. Danach gab es für ihn mit Carol OK noch einen Hit und dann folgte eine lange Abstinenz. Bis heute. Chris Andrews war damit fast 40 Jahre nicht in den Charts und feiert hiermit sein Comeback. Der letzte Alt-Star, dem ähnliches gelang war im letzten Sommer Paul Kuhn. Er konnte nach 43 Jahren Pause noch einmal in den Charts auftauchen.

Wer fehlt jetzt eigentlich noch? Ach ja, Mickie Krause zum Beispiel. Mit Düp Düp landet er einen 14. Hit in den deutschen Charts. Und dieser ist schon fast wieder etwas Besonderes, weil er fleißig den Scooter-Sound imitiert bis hin zu direkten Zitaten. In der Woche der Erstveröffentlichung gibt es dafür Platz 67 – mehr ist es auch tatsächlich nicht wert.

Zu Beginn des Sommers, im Juni, beglückte uns Antonia aus Tirol mit einem kitschig-debilen Aufguss von Torneró. Als Österreicherin hatte sie mit 1000 Träume weit aber dann doch nicht so den richtigen Erfolg: zwei Wochen in den Charts, Höchstplatzierung 89. Aber kein Problem, denn nun gibt es auch eine Variante von Anna-Maria Zimmermann. Diese ist dann doch ein klein wenig erfolgreicher und schafft in der ersten Woche Platz 71. Allerdings will das noch nicht viel heißen. Ihr Debüt Wer ist dieser DJ konnte sich im letzten Herbst auch nur eine einzige Woche auf der 66 platzieren. Und worin nun wirklich die Unterschiede der beiden Versionen bestehen ... sorry, ich hab’s nicht analysiert und höre liebe die italienische Originalversion von I Santo California.

Naja und dann gibt es noch DJ Düse mit Hu Hu Hubschraubereinsatz. Das geht dann wieder mehr zur Sache und rumst ordentlich. Ist aber genauso belanglos. Platz 75.

Und wenn wir jetzt schon bei den elektronischen Hits sind: atb landet seinen zweiten Charthit in 2009. Dieses mal heißt es Behind und als Partner wird die Band Flanders genannt. Ein wenig verwirrend: die Single ist offiziell seit 17. Juli zu haben, aber selbst auf der Homepage von atb wird darüber kein Wort verloren. Da muss man schon ganz schön suchen, um irgendwo bei Kontor dann doch fündig zu werden. Vielleicht erklärt das den etwas niedrigen Platz 87 - What About Us schaffte im Mai noch Platz 65.

Neu ist auch dabei Lily Allen, vielleicht die Künstlerin diesen Sommers. Ihr dritter Charttitel in diesem Jahr heißt Fuck You. Er stammt ebenfalls aus dem Album It’s Not Me It’s You, ist allerdings nur als Digitalvariante erhältlich und obendrein nicht mal als regulärer Single-Release. Deshalb wird Fuck You an die Popularität von Not Fair (derzeit Platz 13, von der 12 kommend) nicht anschließen können. Ist ohnehin ein nicht ganz so schwungvoller Titel, der Text dagegen ist gewohnt deutlich: Fickt euch, ihr Kleingeister! Super!

Lustig sind die Wiedereinsteiger aus der Ultimativen Chart-Show. Es gab ja jetzt schon einige Wochen lang nichts aus der Recycling-Fabrik, dafür jetzt um so deutlicher. Auf dem Programm standen die erfolgreichsten Latin-Hits aller Zeiten. Und das Ganze flimmerte bereits im Februar über die Bildschirme. Aber wenn schon Recycling, dann richtig, also wiederholen wir das Ganze nochmal und prompt steigen auch die selben Titel wieder in die Charts wie im Februar. Zum Beispiel Heroes del Silencio, die mit Entre dos Tierras genau wie im Februar, jetzt noch einmal auf der 77 auftauchen. Ebenso David Bisbal. Sein Silencio steht in dieser Woche auf der 79 … dann doch fünf Plätze besser als bei seinem letzten Auftauchen im Februar. Sind das eigentlich immer dieselben Menschen, die diese Titel wieder laden?

Und dann sind da ganz am Ende mal wieder drin: Metallica mit ihrem Klassiker Nothing Else Matters auf der 98 – in dieser Version das 50. mal notiert – die Simple Minds mit Stars Will Lead The Way auf der 99 – erst das dritte mal dabei – und P!nk mit So What, ihrem letzten Nr.1-Hit aus dem Herbst 2008, auf der 100 – das die mittlerweile 28. Woche.

Charts vom 28. November 2008

Holla - jetzt geht es aber tüchtig los in den deutschen Charts. Und sogar ganz oben tut sich eine Menge. Die Nr. 1 ist zwar immer noch die gleiche wie letzte Woche, aber schon auf Rang 2 wird munter nachgelegt. Aber erstmal: Polarkreis 18 sind mit "Allein Allein" nun in der fünften Woche an der Spitze und langsam wird es spannend, denn noch haben sie alle Chancen 8 Wochen voll zu machen und damit zu den Nr.1-Hits 2008 zu gehören, die am längsten ihre Position verteidigen konnten. Aber da gibt es auf Platz 2 sehr sehr starke Konkurrenz, denn hier steigt Katy Perry mit ihrer neuen Single "Hot N Cold" ein. Und das als reiner Download-Titel, denn in echt ist die Single erst seit dem 21. zu haben. Noch nie war ein nur digital-verkaufter Titel besser platziert und noch nie hat ein solcher Titel mit so einem Satz die Charts geentert. Natürlich ist die Only-Download-Zählung auch noch nicht soo alt: Seit 13. juli 2007 haben Titel die Möglichkeit auch als rein digitale Veröffentlichung in der Liste zu erscheinen. Erschwerend kommt hinzu, dass in Deutschland nicht die Anzahl ausschalggebend für die Platzierung ist, sondern der erzielte Umsatz. Das bedeutet, dass eine verkaufte Single-CD von Polarkreis 18 gleich viel Wert ist wie 5 bis 7 verkaufte Downloads von Katy Perry. Damit dürfte klar sein, dass "Hot N Cold" derzeitig der meistgekaufte Titel in Deutschland ist. Die beste Platzierung als rein digitale Single kam bislang von Paul Potts und seiner Puccini-Interpretation "Nessun Dorma" (ist noch gar nicht soo alt und treibt sich derzeit noch auf der 54, von 51 kommend rum ... dürfte aber schon nächste Woche nicht mehr dabei sein, es sei denn die Weihnachtsstimmung greift derart um sich ...)
Zurück zum Star der Woche: Eigentlich ist der Nachfolger zum Nr. 1-Hit "I Kissed A Girl" (fällt von 13 auf 19) viel weniger hypnotisch, aber er hat derzeit ein derartig starkes Airplay (aktuell die 4 in den eher langsamen und betulichen Airplay-Charts), dass offensichtlich alle gerade extrem gierig nach dem Titel sind. Und wir dürfen gespannt sein, ob sie nicht schon nächste Woche ihren zweiten Spitzentitel in Deutschland verbuchen kann. Sollte sie dies schaffen, ist sie eine der wenigen Acts, die es mit ihren jeweils ersten beiden Singles an die Spitze schafften. Letztes Beispiel für solch einen Einstand lieferte Mark Medlock im Jahr 2007. Mit dieser Woche gesellt sich Katy Perry an die Seite von Leona Lewis, die in diesem Jahr mit ihrem Debüt "Bleeding Love" ebenfalls die 1 enterte und mit "Better In Time" auf Rang 2 im Juli nachlegte.

Die Katy Perry-Sensation überschattet das, was ich in der letzten Woche schon angekündigt hatte. Britney Spears schickt mit "Womanizer" die Vorab-Single zu ihrem 6. Studio-Album "Circus" ins Rennen. In den USA brach sie mit der Single bereits alle möglichen Rekorde und fuhr ihre zweite Nr.1 ein. Hier in Deutschland reicht es in der ersten Woche für Platz 4, was immerhin das beste Ergebnis seit 2004 und ihrem Titel "My Prerogative" ist. Es ist ihr 16. Top 10-Hit und der 12. Titel, der es unter die ersten 5 schafft. Obwohl "Womanizer" von vielen als die beste Britney überhaupt betitelt wird, würde ich an dieser Stelle aber bezweifeln, dass sie damit ihre dritte Nr.1 in Deutschland holt. Aber warten wir es ab, wie wir sehen gibt es ja doch noch genügend Überraschungen im Chartgeschehen.

Die beste deutsche Produktion schafft es in dieser Woche auf die 7. Für mich eine sehr eigenwillige Kombination, die Rapper Curse da mit Silbermond eingegangen ist. Nachdem der Titelsong seines Albums "Freiheit" featuring Westernhagen Ende September nicht so sehr die Masse begeistern konnte, gelingt ihm durch Stefanie Kloß als Duettpartnerin das erste Mal der Sprung unter die ersten 10. Ich würde an dieser Stelle mal behaupten, dass dieses Ergebnis vor allem auf das Konto der charismatischen Stimme der Sängerin geht, denn Silbermond sind mit ihrer ehemaligen Nr.1 "Das Beste" auch nach zwei Jahren noch immer wieder am unteren Ende der Verkaufsliste zu finden. Letzte Woche zum Beispiel grad wieder notiert auf der Position 100. "Bis zum Schluss" erinnert mich irgenwie an bekannte Titel, obwohl es gut rhythmuslastig daherkommt und dadurch den gewohnten Silbermond-Sound schön bricht.

Der nächste Einsteiger hinterlässt die Frage: saugeil und mutig oder wahnwitzig übermütig. Wahrscheinlich ist das jedoch eine eher sehr deutsche oder europäische Frage, denn wenn der US-Rapper T.I. um die Hookline des Eurotrash-Hits "Dragostea din tei" von O-Zone einen abgebrühten Südstaaten-Rap mit Guestvocals von Rihanna bastelt, dann muss das in Übersee einfach cool aussehen und zur Nr.1 führen. Hier in Deutschland wurden wir ja erst diesen Sommer wieder mit den Überbleibseln des größten moldawischen Hits aller Zeiten beglückt. Crazy Frog und Arsenium hießen die Projekte, welche mehr oder minder geschickt das alte Rezept nochmal aufkochten. Nun also gibt es den Original-Gesang noch einmal in einem kleinen Ausschnitt zu hören bevor Rihanna übernimmt und eine wesentlich coolere Variante darbietet. Für T.I. ist "Live Your Life" der erste Aufenthalt in den deutschen Top 20 als Mainact. Mit seinem Rap-Part für Justin Timberlake's "My Love" stand er 2006 bereits auf Position 4. Rihanna ist mit ihrem Part momentan die zweite Künstlerin, die aktuell zwei Titel unter den oberen 20 platzieren kann. "Disturbia" rutscht in dieser Woche aus der Top 10 auf die 13.

Die momentan erfolgreichste Schülerband Deutschlands Aloha From Hell aus Aschaffenburg legen mit ihrer Rockballade "Walk Away" nach und können auf Anhieb den Erfolg ihres Debüts "Don't Gimme That" aus dem Sommer übertreffen. Platz 26 für Single Nr.2 und ein paar Konzerttermine gibt es im Dezember auch noch.

Zu Platz 34 gibt es wieder eine ganze Menge zu erzählen. Zunächst mal steht dort neu in der Liste Bushido feat. Karel Gott. Ja, richtig gelesen, der Rapper hinter dem Label ersguterjunge lässt derzeit nichts unversucht, ordentlich in die Schlagzeilen zu kommen und 'n Haufen Kohle abzuschöpfen so lange das drin ist. Biographie als Bestseller, Verfilmung derselben, Veröffentlichungen in Massen – dieses ist bereits die siebte Single, die sich in 2008 platzieren konnte – und dann eben auch mal gern ein Duett mit dem tschechischen Schlagerstar Karel Gott, den so richtig harte Jungs und Mädels ausm Ghetto vielleicht gar nicht mehr kennen. Zur Erinnerung: Karel Gott, die goldene Stimme aus Prag, begann seine Karriere in den 60ern, seine größten Erfolge feierte er zwischen 1970 und 86. Da gab es noch vor Zeiten der wöchentlichen Charts den Titel "Was damals war", der sich in der damaligen Hitparade bis zum Platz 8 vorarbeiten konnte. Unvergessen in den Gedächtnissen von Fans des deutschsprachigen Liedguts sind "Die Biene Maja" (Titelsong der Zeichentrickserie 1975) "Babicka" (1979 Platz 20) und "Fang das Licht" mit seiner Tochter Darinka (1986 Platz 15). Sein letzter Chartaufenthalt stammt aus dem Jahr 1997, als er mit einer deutschen Version von "Time To Say Good-Bye (Con Te Partiro)" bis auf Rang 86 kam. Nach mehr als 11-jähriger Pause feiert Karel Gott nun dank Bushido sein Chart-Comeback und hievt sich gleich richtig in die Jetzt-Zeit, denn "Für immer jung" landet auf Platz 34 durch reine Online-Verkäufe. Die reguläre Single steht erst seit heute in den Läden, wird also in zwei Wochen ganz sicher einen Sprung nach oben hinlegen. Und so wie sich das anlässt könnte es für Karel Gott die höchste Chartplatzierung überhaupt werden. Bushido hätte da ein wenig mehr zu tun, denn sein bislang bestplatzierter Titel stammt aus dem Jahr 2007 und hieß "Alles verloren". Platz 4 gilt es zu knacken und das könnte durchaus gelingen, denn die zweite "Sensation" der neuen Bushido-Single ist der Titel selber. "Für immer jung" zitiert nämlich ordentlich und wiedererkennbar den 80er jahre-Hit von Alphaville "Forever Young". Im Original 1984 bis Platz 4 geklettert, wurde der Titel bereits unzählige Male gecovert, am erfolgreichsten vom deutschen Technodance-Projekt Interactive, welches Anfang 1995 in Deutschland bis auf die 7 kam und sogar in Großbritannien den Sprung unter die Top 40 schaffte. 2002 gabs dann nochmal ein Remake, auch das mit ordentlichen Verkaufszahlen und nun sind also wieder ein paar Jahre ins Land gegangen, Weihnachten steht vor der Tür, Balladen-Schmonzetten stehen gut im Kurs und Bushido macht sich Gedanken übers Älterwerden. Natürlich sind da keine neuen Erkenntnisse zu erwarten, halt die bekannten Allgemeinplätze. Aber wer will schon immer nur zum Nachdenken animiert werden? 6 Mio Abrufe bei MySpace, 2 Mio bei Youtube, Einstieg in die Charts vor Verkaufsbeginn, Clinch mit VIVA und MTV ... da erübrigt sich jeder Kommentar.

So wie wir in nächster Zeit wahrscheinlich wieder ein Auge und Ohr auf Bushido + Gott haben werden, so können wir bereits in dieser Woche vermelden, dass die Jungs von Guns n' Roses wie erwartet ordentlich an Tempo zulegen. Von der 90 in der letzten Woche (als ihre Single lediglich eine halbe Woche im Geschäft war) auf die 38 springt "Chinese Democracy". Auf der Homepage der Band wird auch ein MySpace-Streaming-Rekord vermeldet. Im Schnitt sollen 25 HörerInnen pro Sekunde den Titel abgerufen haben. Da steht zu vermuten, dass auch eine ganze Menge an Leuten bei den bekannten Download-Shops eingekauft haben, denn in echt gibt es nach wie vor lediglich die Trendsingle mit nur einem Titel. Insgesamt ist diese Woche überhaupt deutlich zu merken, dass der Online-Markt an Bedeutung gewinnt.
Statistisch gesehen müssen Axl Rose und Freunde allerdings noch ein wenig mehr drauf legen. "Chinese Democracy" ist mit Platz 38 bislang noch der schlechtplatzierteste Titel der Band in den deutschen Charts. Lediglich "Patience" machte im September 1989 auf eben dieser Position halt, war aber insgesamt 13 Wochen lang notiert.

Mash-Ups sind nach wie vor sehr beliebt wie uns der Neuzugang auf der 51 zeigt. Da kommt das Debut des Dance-Projekts SASH! aus dem Jahr 1997 "Encore Une Fois" (damals Platz 16) neu in die Verkaufsliste, diesmal allerdings angefüllt mit der Gesangsspur von "Raindrops", einem Track des englischen Projektes Stunt und erschienen 2005 auf Data Records. Folgerichtig heißt die Neuveröffentlichung "Raindrops (Encore Une Fois)". In Großbritannien hats für das Stück bis in die Top 10 gelangt, ich finde, dass der Originaltrack von SASH! durch den Gesang eher an Kraft verliert und austauschbarer wirkt. Immerhin noch eine schöne Erinnerung an ein Projekt, dass seit mehr als 5 Jahren in der Versenkung verschwunden war und eigentlich schon begraben.

Estelle steigt mit ihrem dritten Titel "Come Over" auf der 62 ein. An ihrer Seite hat sie für diesmal Sean Paul, in 2008 das zweite mal in der Liste vertreten. Entspannter Raggae.
Eine absolut beeindruckende Stimme gibt es auf der 64 zu hören. Sie gehört dem Grafen, wie sich der letzte Verbliebene der Band Unheilig nennt. "An Deiner Seite" ist das Chartdebut des 1999 zusammen mit Jose Alvarez-Brill (aktuell Peter Heppner produzierend) gegründeten Projektes. Düster und stark.
Im Jahr 2008 war Jimi Blue ziemlich präsent. Mit einer fünften Single namens "Best Damn Life" gehts ins Weihnachtsgeschäft. Start auf der 67, während "Key To The City" von der 70 auf die 84 fällt.
Nach ihren bisher größten kommerziellen Erfolgen, den zwei Top 10-Singles aus dem "Viva La Vida"-Album charten Coldplay auf der 77 mit Titel Nr.3. Allerdings auch dies in der Digitalvariante. "Lost!" ist zwar auf genanntem Album enthalten und am 21.11. erschien auch die EP "Prospekts March" auf der "Lost!" noch drauf ist. Aber den Titel solo gibt es derzeit nur als Download-Variante.
Die 79 sieht die hessische Mädchenband Fräulein Wunder mit ihrer zweiten Single "Mein Herz ist Gift für dich". Ohne VIVA-Serie geht's etwas langsamer voran.
Auf der 81 erscheint Blutengel mal wieder. "Dancing In The Light" gibt es in zwei Varianten: als Forsaken- und als Solitary-Edition.
Rania ist die dritte Teilnehmerin der letzten DSDS-Staffel, die ihr Chartdebüt 2008 gibt. "Crying Undercover" steigt ein auf der 86.
Jens O.(phälders) und Jens Kindervater aka Michael Mind sind seit einigen Jahren auch unter dem Pseudonym The Real Booty Babes in der Clubszene unterwegs. Erfolge feiern sie vor allem mit Schranz-Versionen bekannter Hits. In diesem Jahr waren sie bereits mit einer Variante von "Apologize" notiert. Auf der 98 stehen sie in dieser Woche neu mit "I Kissed A Girl" - auch das als reiner Download-Titel.

TV-Show-Effekte wie gewohnt: Popstars-Kandidatinnen Diyana, Jill und Katharina singen in der Folge am 13.11. "Listen" und das Original von Beyoncé steigt auf der 63 wieder ein. Wird aber auch schnell wieder draußen sein.
Ähnlich ergehts wohl auch Westlife mit "You raise Me Up", die auf der 71 wieder auftauchen, nachdem Asawari Jacob am 15.11. seinen Auftritt mit dem Titel bei RTL "Supertalent"-Show hatte.
Auf der 99 entern Evanescence mit einem ihrer größten Hits "My Immortal" nochmal die Charts. Da weiß ich aber jetzt keine Erklärung, wodurch das verursacht wurde.

Für einen Neueinsteiger hab ich hier am Ende noch extra fünf Zeilen frei gehalten.
Es ist die letzte Woche im November oder auch der 1. Advent und auf der 73 erscheint, wie immer an diesem Datum, der Weihnachts-Pop-Hit schlechthin: "Last Christmas" von Wham! Bei seinem letzten Auftritt zum Jahreswechsel 07/08 hat der Titel mit Platz 4 seine beste Position überhaupt erreicht. Ein kleiner Rekord: in der 72. Woche und 23 Jahre nach dem Ersteintritt. Ob's in diesem Jahr nochmal höher geht? Position 73 als Start in die Saison ist im Vergleich nicht wahnsinnig überzeugend. Eventuell hat jetzt auch schon jedeR seine/ihre Version auf PC, Silberling oder sonst einer Form in der Sammlung.
