December 15th 17: Raf Camora vs. Azet

It is the second week for Perfect by Ed Sheeran (feat. Beyoncé) holding firm at #1. In 2017 it is the 17th week at #1 for the singer. It matches the result of Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee.

Highest new entry comes in at #6. It is the pre-release for RAF CAMORA's sequel album Anthrazit RR called Sag nix. It is the third top10 hit for the rapper in 2017 alone–not bad at all although Kollegah & Farid Bang have six top 10 entries in 2017. Might be consolation seeing RAF CAMORA as the artist with most chart entries in 2017 with 29 different tracks. Kollegah & Farid Bang only made 21 tracks charting in 2017.

Two places behind Azet lands with Gjynah. It is his second top 10 hit and his sixth chart entrie at all. Raf Camora started similarly a year ago. So one might witness an upcoming megastar here.

Third song entering the top10 is Wham! with Last Christmas. The song spends its fifth week inside–with its fourth run. Last year it peaked at #7.

Oct 27th 17: BAUSA still leads –

BAUSA leads the list still with his (not) love song Was du Liebe nennst. It is week no.3 for that song.

The highest new entry is the third top 10 hit for German schlager queen Helene Fischer. As her song Achterbahn is available in new mixes the song crashes into #10 in its second chart week. Over the week sales figures decrease dramatically–probably also this hit will fade away soon.

As it is a calm week we can have a watch at the lower end where long running hits still invade the list. Due to Oktoberfest and Wiesn parties Hulapalu by Andreas Gabalier again gets increasing attention and re-enters the survey at #95 in its 84th chart week. The song started chart life on the first week of 2016, in 2017 it charted 31 times. The longest consecutive running entry sits at #71 in its 60th chart week. It is Ohne mein Team by Bonez MC RAF Camora & Maxwell. Its highest position was #7.

Sep 1st 17: Axwell /\ Ingrosso's 2nd Week At #1

Axwell /\ Ingrosso hold firm at #1 for a second week.
At #4 Taylor Swift lands her new offering Look What You Made Me Do. It is her fifth top 10 appearance at all and the second this year following the duet I Don't Wanna Live Forever which peaked #2 earlier this year. Look What You Made Me Do is Taylor Swift's highest performing solo single so far.

Most present artist is Austrian rapper RAF Camora who launched his album Anthrazit at #1 on the album list and sees 14 of the 17 songs enter the list. Additionally two elder hits are in the list so he pushes the presence of Austrian artists inside the German charts in one single week to a new height of 16. It also turns the result of productions featuring Germans (37) and tracks in German (38) to a rare proportion.

With Michael Patrick Kelly getting the title song of his album iD into the charts at #100 the singer ends an 14 years long abstinence from the list. Of course after his first two solo hits in 1993 he appeared chartwise as a member of the Kelly Family for one year more. The very first chart entry with the family came back 23 years ago in October 1994–the family already had a hit in 1980 when Paddy only was three years old.
