May 13th 16: It's Superstar Time

Casting format DSDS still can launch hits. After a desastrous season 2015 the show is back with a straight no.1 act: Damien Prince. His final performance song Glücksmoment shots to the top right after the show. Latest iTunes list shows the star sinking rapidly–so probably in one week's time the star will range somehow deeper and time will show how strongly the DSDS formula still works.

Back to statistics: Prince Damien is the first newcomer entering directly at no.1 since autumn 2014 when The Avener had its chart start with Fade Out Lines at the very top.

The version of runners up Laura van den Elzen comes in at #37 and Thomas Katrozan also enters the list at #67 although he did not perform his version.

The race for the next #1 started already. One of the big favourites truly is This Girl by Australian-French-act KUnGS vs. Cookin' On 3 Burners. The song goes 10–4 in its fourth chart week and is France's highest impact since past year when Louane hit #3 with Avenir.
Another big favourite is Justin Timberlake with his new single Can't Stop This Feeling! that starts this week at #7. The worldwide first live performance of the song on this nights Eurovision Song Contest final will boost the song for sure a lot. And now that we're talking 'bout the big media event tonight: If Sweden or Australia wins the contest we have a third big favourtie for next week's top song.

Worth mentioning Mike Posner spends a fifth week at #5 as peak position with I Took A Pill In Ibiza.

New inside the Top20 Cheat Codes X Kris Kross Amsterdam are with SEX which goes 21–17.

And there are some songs making impressive leaps up the list probably becoming soon certain hits. I'm talking 'bout Please Tell Rosie by Alle Farben feat. YOUNOTUS which goes 64–34 in its fourth chart week. A fully 56 places Ain't Your Mama by Jennifer Lopez takes. The song lands at #41 in it second chart week falling only two places short of her last chart appearance alongside Jason Derulo in January this current year.
kiiara steadily rises with Gold reaching the upper half for the first time this week at #47.
After their performance on the final of Germany's Next Top Model (12th April 16) jay sean Ft. Sean Paul see their Make My Love Go flying to #48. The last week it was #100 surely dipping out the list without the big TV support. So far the song had its peak at #82. For jay sean it is the highest performance inside the German charts since July 2012 when I'm All Yours peaked at #40.
The Coca Cola commercial song for the soccer EM slowly gets attention too. Taste The Feeling by AVICII vs. Conrad Sewell goes 83–62 in its fifth chart week.
In its second week Close by Nick Jønas Feat. Tove Lo rises 20 places to #73.

A full week on sale Weck mich auf 2016 by Xavier Naidoo from the Sing meinen Song show gains 30 places and lands at #69. From the show on May 10th Samy Deluxe's take on BAP's Kristallnacht from 1982 enters the list after two days on sale. The song becomes #93 although it wasn't the winner of the episode.
