When The Beat Drops Out by Marlon Roudette is the new number 1. It is the fifth straight number 1 in 2014 – since beginning of May only straight number 1s were listed at the Top.
It is the third number 1 hit for the artist, the second under his own name. First occupying the number 1 with Mattafix in January 2006 he is the artist of 2014 with the longest time spawning between number 1 hits.
With having three songs charted as main artist and all three went top 10, Marlon Roudette is one of the best performing chart act of this decade.
Last week's number 1 Auf uns by Andreas Bourani drops to number 4 as exex-number 1 last week did also.

At number 92 German chart history is newly written. Probably it is a real mistake that American rapper Ice Cube never had a chart entry in the German singles charts. Now that fact is history. With Girls entering the list at the lower end the artist also here can be called a chart artist.Alongside Ice Cube also Redfoo gains his first solo entry and 2 Chainz collects a fifth chart track.
